Sandra Attersley
SANDRA ATTERSLEY graduated from the Canadian
Coast Guard College in 1981, the Marine Institute in St.
John's, NL in 1986 and Dalhousie Law School in 1996
with a Marine Law Certificate.
Sandra's practice focuses in the areas of marine law,
insurance law and corporate/commercial law. Sandra
also holds a Canadian 2nd Class Engineer Motorship
Certificate. She went to sea for 5 years as an
engineering officer with the Canadian Coast Guard and
was employed in the shipbuilding industry as a design
technologist for 4 years.
Since 2007, Sandra has been teaching part-time at
Dalhousie University in the Marine Affairs Program.
Sandra is a member of the Canadian Institute of Marine
Engineering, Eastern Admiralty Law Association and the
Canadian Maritime Law Association, and is a member of
the board of directors of the Mission to Seafarers
Halifax.
